Yoga Progress!
So, I've been doing all sorts of exercise classes... various types of aerobics, band resistance, weights and yoga... for the past 3 months, minimum 1 hour a day and sometimes as much as 3 hours.
Last time I was at yoga I, for the first time, was able to put my palms flat on the floor during a forward bend.
This time during half-bow (lay on stomach and reach back to grab a foot and hold it, like a laying-down quad stretch) I was able to reach and hold my foot, on each side as we did it! I haven't been able to do that for years because of fat being in the way and loss of flexibility!
During full bow (lay on stomach and grab both feet) I was able to get my right foot but not quiiiiittteee my right foot. Teacher said I was about 1 inch away from having my second foot in hand, I just missed it. I was so close I could just barely feel that I couldn't make it. This is awesome. Last class I couldn't even grab one foot, let alone be so close to grabbing both.
I'm very pleased. It's nice to see that all this working out is making real progress.

wohoo
I just tried on my older pair of booty-shorts. They fit perfectly! That means my butt is down 2 sizes!

Update on GBP stuff
Life is pretty much revolving around my gastric bypass stuff. With the exception of 3 days, I've gotten my full 80oz of water every day since Jan 16th. I also haven't missed one time of my daily hour of exercise and have, as of last week, started doing 2 hours some days. I'm having to make an effort to get all my protein in each day but it's going okay.
I've lost 69.4lbs since January 2nd and once I hit a full 70 down I'll only have 100lbs more to go. I was ahead on my last goal and should make my 6mth goal a-ok, possibly pass it by a bit. So yay!
I'm fitting into smaller sizes. I bought and wore a size XL shirt the other day, I can fit back into my $600 custom corset, I'm seeing my face is getting thinner, my joints are happier, I'm more comfortable, I can do just about everything easier.
Picture don't show the change very much yet, so I'm not going to post any until there's quite a clear difference to show. But I can see it in the mirror some and Chael says he can see it a lot, plus he can feel a lot of new muscle on me from all the working out.

2 hours of exercise
As of tomorrow I'm going to try mixing in days of 2 hrs of exercise instead of always doing 1 hr.
Tomorrow morning is yoga (intense yoga @ the gym... sweat literally pours off me during it) and then evening is Zumba.
Hoping I can kick my weightloss back up as it's slowed down.
Plus, I just feel like a bad-ass thinking about doing 2 hrs of exercise in a day.

I'm happy
I'm almost two weeks out and I'm so happy. Actually happy. Excited, jubilant. I am so thrilled I had this surgery... I am loving my tiny meals - so far so yummy! - and the scale has started downwards finally. I'm hoping this is the beginning of the Big Loss to come. Only getting my water in is tedious; I'm also enjoying my walks and looking forward to the gym again!
